I studied at the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague and graduated in 1994, when I passed the final state exams, defended my bachelor's thesis, and obtained a Master's degree in Law.
I founded my law firm in April 2010 after successfully passing the bar exams before the Czech Bar Association in Prague. I am registered with the Czech Bar Association under registration number 13165.
I have been practicing law continuously for more than 31 years. Between 1994 and 2010, I worked as an employee in collaboration with prestigious law firms, among others, where I gained valuable professional experience. My employers included both commercial corporations and public institutions, where I held the position of lawyer and, in some cases, also that of head of the legal department.
At a professional level, I worked, for example, at a bank, a health insurance company, the Office for the Supervision of Savings and Credit Cooperatives, as well as at several commercial holding companies with a wide range of activities. Between 2002 and 2004, I simultaneously served as a trainee judge at the Municipal Court in Prague, where I gained valuable cross-cutting experience in various areas of law from a judicial perspective.

I provide legal services in all areas of law, particularly in civil, family, criminal, commercial, corporate, and real estate law, including attorney escrow of funds and documents, as well as notarization of signatures domestically and abroad. I represent clients in civil court cases, inheritance proceedings, and as defense counsel in criminal matters. I cooperate with several notary and executor offices and tax advisors.

The list of legal services is only a brief overview for your better understanding and guidance.
The fees for legal services depend on the nature, complexity of the case, and the scope of the services provided. The method of remuneration is always agreed upon in advance and can take one of three basic forms. The total billing also includes costs, such as administrative acts necessary for the proper execution of the relevant legal steps, travel expenses, and time spent traveling. VAT must be added to the fees and costs, as I am a registered VAT payer.
Contractual remuneration constitutes an agreement between the lawyer and the client on the amount for which the legal service will be provided, or on the method for determining it. It is most often established as an hourly rate calculated according to the time actually worked, or as a percentage of the value of the subject matter of the dispute.
Non-contractual remuneration is based on the scale of attorneys' fees and depends on the tariff value, i.e, the amount of monetary performance, the price of the item, or the right. Details are regulated by the Decree of the Ministry of Justice on attorneys' remuneration and compensation for the provision of legal services (attorney's tariff), available at zakonyprolidi.cz.
Ongoing collaboration is based on a mandate agreement concluded between the attorney and the client. Under this agreement, a fixed monthly fee for the attorney is established, taking into account the type, scope, and expected frequency of the legal services provided. This collaboration model allows for long-term and systematic legal support under previously agreed conditions.

The law firm has taken out civil liability insurance as part of a group insurance policy through the Czech Bar Association. In the course of its activities, the law firm is governed, among other things, by Act No. 85/1996 Sb. on the legal profession, Resolution No. 1/1997 of the CBA Bulletin (code of ethics) and other legal and professional provisions, which can be found on the website of the Czech Bar Association.
